Kutaisi to Have a New Hotel

Kutaisi, the second largest city and a former capital of Georgia, will have a new 50-room hotel within the framework of a state-run program 50 Real Estates for Your Hotel.

The new hotel will be built at David Aghmashenebeli Avenue, the very center of the city. The total budget of the hotel is around 4 million GEL. The construction will be carried out by a new Georgian construction company Kutaisi Inn, which, according to the National Agency of State Property, bought public property land and its buildings via state auction for 430,000 GEL. 

According to the terms of privatization, the company is responsible to built 50-room hotel in 42 months.

The state-run project, 50 Real Estates for Your Hotel, aims to support tourism development and give investors the possibility to build hotels in tourist zones, using existing infrastructure.

As the National Agency of State Property reports, 24 buildings have been sold within this program, raising the state budget with more than 58 million GEL.
